Why does research need to be timeless? If the scope for its potential impact is limited by time (fast moving team) then isn’t it more important to meet that deadline than to miss it and have it as a timeless reminder of a missed opportunity? Research doesn’t exist for its own sake, it only exists to improve decisions.
